Dr. Konrad Szymanski is an associate professor of urology at the Indiana School of Medicine and a pediatric urologist at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He earned a master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. He has treated thousands of boys with problems described in What You Should Know About Your Boy Parts.

Dr. Szymanski was inspired to write What You Should Know About Your Boy Parts one night in the operating room when he found himself having to remove yet another torsed (twisted) testicle. The testicle was dead. The little boy did not tell his parents about his pain when it started. His parents, like many moms and dads, were not sure when
Dr. Szymanski was inspired to write What You Should Know About Your Boy Parts one night in the operating room when he found himself having to remove yet another torsed (twisted) testicle. The testicle was dead. The little boy did not tell his parents about his pain when it started. His parents, like many moms and dads, were not sure when to come to the emergency room. By the time they arrived, it was too late to save the testicle.
Dr. Szymanski wrote this book to prevent such situations and to answer an urgent need to educate boys and parents on basic and yet potentially very serious problems.
